Serves: 4 | Total time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and cook the salmon flesh side down for 4 minutes.
- Flip the fillets and lower the heat to medium.
- Whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic and lemon juice, then pour it into the pan.
- Simmer 3 to 4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon until it thickens and the fish reaches 145°F.
Pin Tip
Pat the fish completely dry before searing for a golden crust that holds the glaze.
Food Safety
Cook salmon until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, measured in the thickest part, and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
