Good balance helps prevent falls and keeps you independent.

Practice standing on one foot while holding a counter, walking heel to toe, and rising from a chair without using your hands. Tai chi classes also improve balance and strength.

Pin Tip

Always have a sturdy chair or counter nearby while practicing.
