Crunchy breaded chicken tenders made in the air fryer in about 15 minutes.
Serves: 4 | Total time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Heat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Mix the panko, Parmesan and seasonings.
- Dip each tender in egg, then press into the crumb mixture.
- Arrange in a single layer and spray lightly with oil.
- Cook 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and the chicken reaches 165°F.
Pin Tip
Cook in batches. Crowding the basket steams the coating instead of crisping it.
Food Safety
Cook chicken to an internal temperature of 165°F, measured with a thermometer in the thickest part without touching bone. Wash hands, boards and utensils after handling raw chicken.
