The Datsun 620 was sold from 1972 to 1979 and helped make small Japanese pickups popular in the United States. It was light, fuel efficient, and reliable.

In 1977 Datsun added the King Cab, with extra space behind the seats, an early version of the extended cab layout now common on pickups.

Why Collectors Love It

Clean 620s are becoming hard to find, and their simple design makes them popular for restorations and modern engine swaps.

Did You Know

Small trucks like the 620 grew popular during the fuel crises of the 1970s, when buyers wanted better mileage.

Before You Buy

Check the frame, cab corners, floors, and bed for rust, confirm the title and serial numbers match, and ask for service records. A local classic truck club or a trusted mechanic can help you judge parts availability and a fair price before you commit.
