Stroke is a medical emergency, and fast treatment can save brain function.

Remember BE FAST: Balance loss, Eyes losing vision, Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty and Time to call 911.

Pin Tip

Note the time symptoms started. Doctors use it to decide on treatment.

Do Not Wait

Call 911 instead of driving the person yourself. Paramedics can begin care and alert the hospital.

Get Trained

This pin is for general education only and does not replace hands on training. Take a certified CPR and first aid course from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and always call 911 in an emergency.
