Ohio requires fingerprint background checks for many jobs, licenses and volunteer roles.
Common applicants include teachers and school staff, nurses and health care workers, child care and adoption applicants, security guards and private investigators, and many state licenses.
Pin Tip
Volunteer coaches and school volunteers may also need a check, so ask your organization.
Professional Licenses
Many Ohio licensing boards require a fresh BCI and FBI check when you first apply.
