Texas’s 2026 U.S. Senate race features Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton.
Paxton, the Texas attorney general, won the Republican nomination by defeating four term Senator John Cornyn in a May 2026 runoff. Talarico won the Democratic nomination in March 2026.
