The United States Congress has two chambers: the House of Representatives with 435 voting members and the Senate with 100 members.

House seats are divided among states by population, while every state has two senators. Both chambers must pass a bill before it goes to the president.

Pin Tip

Find your members of Congress by entering your address on official congressional websites.

Check Official Sources

Election rules, dates, and deadlines can change. For current, accurate information, check the Ohio Secretary of State website, your county board of elections, or the official website of the government body involved.

Stay Engaged Respectfully

Civic life works best when people listen, ask questions, and share views respectfully. Look at multiple sources, separate facts from opinions, and focus on issues rather than personal attacks.

Quick Reminder

Mark important election dates on your calendar once they are announced by official election offices.
