Landlords use process servers to deliver eviction related documents to tenants.

In Ohio, a landlord generally must give a written three day notice to leave the premises before filing an eviction case, followed by the court complaint and summons.

Pin Tip

Landlords should follow Ohio law and local court rules exactly. Mistakes can delay an eviction.

Document Everything

A process server provides an affidavit or proof showing exactly when and how notice was delivered.
