A sweet and savory brown sugar glaze caramelizes on baked salmon. Kids and adults both love it.
Serves: 4 | Total time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 400°F and line a pan with foil.
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
- Stir together the brown sugar, soy sauce, mustard, butter and garlic.
- Spread the glaze over the salmon.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes until it reaches 145°F, then broil 1 minute to caramelize the top.

Food Safety
Cook salmon until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, measured in the thickest part, and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
