From 2022 to 2023 Dr. Amy Acton served as president and CEO of RAPID 5, a Columbus nonprofit effort to connect the region’s five river corridors.

The plan aims to link greenways and parks along waterways in Franklin County so more residents can reach nature close to home.

Health Link

Acton connected the work to public health, noting that access to parks supports physical activity and mental well being.
