Many jobs and licenses require a BCI background check, an FBI background check, or both. Ohio Security & Investigations helps applicants from Canfield, Ellsworth, Berlin Center, and North Lima complete fingerprint based checks accurately and send results to the right place.
BCI and FBI Background Checks Near Canfield
Canfield surrounds its historic village green, with established neighborhoods, newer subdivisions, and rural properties stretching into Ellsworth, Berlin, and Green townships. It sits about fifteen minutes from our West Boulevard office.
Many Canfield residents commute to Youngstown, Boardman, or Akron, and the area hosts the Canfield Fair each Labor Day weekend. Those patterns shape scheduling for fingerprint appointments, investigations, and process serving.
BCI Versus FBI
A BCI check searches Ohio criminal history records. An FBI check searches national records and is often required for people who have lived outside Ohio or for regulated roles. Your employer or licensing board decides which you need.
Avoid Paying Twice
The most common mistakes are a wrong reason code, a wrong recipient, or a name that does not match your ID. Ask for written instructions before your appointment, and our staff will review them with you.
Serving Mahoning County Applicants
School districts, hospitals, nursing homes, childcare centers, and licensing boards serving Canfield rely on fingerprint checks. Results go electronically to the agency you choose.
